Too Good To Go - Tim Hortons ($5 for $13.53 worth of baked goods)

We finally got to try a Too Good To Go bag from Tim Hortons. They have so many locations, you should be able to get a bag from them too! For $4.99 we received a box of 7 items, the retail price would have been $13.53 and all the items were pretty fresh. If you're feeding a group or family and folks are down to try new items this is a great way to save money!

Too Good To Go is a mobile application that connects customers to restaurants and stores that have surplus unsold food.

Tim Hortons is a Canadian coffeehouse and restaurant chain. Based in Toronto, it serves coffee, donuts, sandwiches, and other fast-food items. We visited their location on 175 Bloor St E.

Lets explore our haul!

The Good:

The freshness was there with all the items. If we were blindfolded we would have believed these were made on the same day. The volume wasn't too bad either.

The Bad:

This bag does not meet the threshold of 3 times value that TGTG had really pushed in their marketing early on. Whether this still applies or not is uncertain but is still often the benchmark of many TGTG bags and its clients.
Would have also liked to receive a variety of flavours beyond only sweet items which is what we received here.

The Delish:

Love getting a variety and not having multiple of the same thing. We were really happy to see that was the case here.

The NimNimNim (Cream of the crop) :

Tim Hortons isn't a new place to us, we are familiar with their products but seldom get the items we received here. It was nice to revisit some items we rarely have and with some of the items; they were new. The items were delicious and if you're a fan of Timmies, this is a solid bag to grab to save money and also reduce food waste!

💰Total: $13.53💰
💸We paid: $4.99💸
🤑That is a $8.54 savings!🤑
