Too Good To Go - Longo's ($9 for $34.75 worth of Prepared Food!)

Our first Prepared Foods bag from Longo's with Too Good To Go! While visiting family this weekend up in the suburbs we were telling them about Too Good To Go and helped them find some options close to them! They were shocked to see the value of this prepared food bag from their local Longo's. While a lot of the examples of bags from the app are from major cities, don't be afraid to just download it and see what's available near you. New stores are often being added! What's a store you wish was on Too Good To Go?

Too Good To Go is a mobile application that connects customers to restaurants and stores that have surplus unsold food.

Longo's, is a chain of retail supermarkets that are located across southern Ontario.

Lets explore our haul!

Mac and Cheese - $8.99
Szechuan Vegetable Mix - $4.19
Stuffed Roasted Chicken Breast Linguine Alfredo - $12.99
Fat Free Vanilla Yogurt with Fruit and Granola - $4.29/each * 2 = $8.58

The Good:

Everything was fresh and given a day before the best before date (with the exception of the vegetable mix)

The Bad:

Nothing at all.

The Delish:

We loved how this bag felt like it was done with care and thought -- the items put together appeared to be assembled so that it would be a meal (not simply one item in bulk quantity). The items were compatible/paired well together.

The NimNimNim (Cream of the crop) :

We were very happy with this haul. For $9, it would be impossible to make these dishes from home. Great variety and volume here. Will definitely be returning in the future!
