Too Good To Go - Bake Code Croissanterie ($8 for $32.50 worth of croissants!)

Bake Code Croissanterie was one of our first experiences with 'Too Good To Go'. We paid $8 for $32.50 worth of croissants!

Too Good To Go is a mobile application that connects customers to restaurants and stores that have surplus unsold food. Bake Code Croissanterie is a Euro-Asian bakery, using European croissant techniques with unique Asian flavors to create a very special croissant experience.

Lets explore our deliciousness!

The Good:

Bake Code Croissanterie is a regular for us. The croissants are always large, flavorful and fresh. The establishment is clean, elegant and gives a overall high end bakery vibe.

The Bad:

The prices are quite high. The value for your purchase is fair considering other bakeries of the same level charge a similar price, however it is quite expensive to us to pay $32.50 for five croissants [based on average of $6.50 per croissant; though they have a deal of $30 for six). Even at its regular price, Bake Code is a favourite of ours that we purchase for their monthly exclusives as an occasional treat.

The Delish:

We are big fans of bakeries, and Bake Code Croissanterie is right up there as one of the best ones in our books. Every attribute that can define what makes an excellent croissant is check marked by their unique creations. We enjoy the flavours that you would not normally find from other bakeries and applaud both their creativity and execution of masterpiece croissants.

The NimNimNim (Cream of the crop) :

Like our other Too Good To Go purchases, this one delivers on both the surprise thrill and value for money. Lets dive deeper:

1.   Surprise! Its a croissant you never tried before!
Bake Code Croissanterie has released dozens of different flavours. They have monthly exclusives that introduce some new flavours as well as rotating favourites (As of the date of this post they have 18 flavours in their regular offering and 4 monthly exclusives). Purchasing a Too Good To Go box from Bake Code is always a fun surprise as you'll likely be introduced a flavour you have yet to try.

2.    Value for your dough
We paid less than 25% of what it would have normally cost to buy the croissants individually. $1.60 for each croissant of this quality is phenomenal. The freshness matches the instore purchased croissants even if these may have been made the day prior - as long as you refrigerate and consume soon after acquiring the croissants.
