Too Good To Go - Metro ($12.99 for $52 worth of assorted meats)

Our first Assorted Meats bag from Metro with Too Good To Go was amazing! The bag is a newer bag in Metro's offering, we were thrilled to receive cuts of meat we enjoy and in great volume. We paid $12.99 for over $52 worth of assorted meats!

Too Good To Go is a mobile application that connects customers to restaurants and stores that have surplus unsold food. Metro is a large grocery chain with over 325 locations across Canada. Lets explore our haul!

The Good:

We are familiar with Metro; as regular customers both on TGTG and regular groceries. Their meat has always been fresh and good quality when we purchase them regularly so we had good expectations of this newer bag.

The Bad:

No issues! Be sure to read the instructions carefully as to where to pick up this bag in the store. This specific location requires us to go to the Service area (where they also sell Lotto tickets). When you arrive and say you're there for pickup they will page the Meat department to bring the bag over to you.

The Delish:

Really happy with the quality of the cuts we received. The bag was packed with care; meats in additional bags and all of them in a larger paper bag; stapled and easy to carry.

The NimNimNim (Cream of the crop) :

Customer service was excellent and prompt at this location (Yonge and College) -- shoutout to the Bakery department that informed me where to pick up the goods. The meats were frozen so we felt assured the items were stored properly. The best before date was marked on the same day we received them. They will be frozen and enjoyed for the future!

💰Total: ~$52💰
💸We paid: $12.99💸
🤑That is a ~$39 savings!🤑
