Four Seasons Maui at Wailea

Four Seasons Maui at Wailea lives up to its name as a luxury resort. This resort is situated on the southwest coast of Maui, facing the beautiful Wailea beach. Nestled in an extravagant pocket of other luxury resorts, Four Seasons Maui was more than just a stay at a hotel resort - it was an unforgettable experience.

Hotel & Room:

The resort is magnificent right from the entrance; grand and majestic throughout the entire hotel. One of the first reactions we had was how fresh the air was upon entering; it is an open concept with no enclosed windows allowing you to soak in the views and breeze anywhere you are on the main floor. The entire resort is picturesque and pristine. We stayed at the Garden-View room which was a cozy room for two with a luxurious bathroom, very comfortable bed and access to a spacious shared garden. We loved the small details to make this a truly elevated experience - from the air purifier to tablet in the room allowing you to make quick chat requests and reservations with the concierge.

Amenities/Activities:

In addition to being a haven of pure relaxation, there are many amenities and services available here. Be sure to check the weekly activities list provided by the concierge and book activities as soon as possible since they fill up quickly. We participated in the Outrigger Canoe (complimentary) which was an amazing experience. We were guided by two professionals and canoeing with three other guests for an hour along Wailea beach with historical and interesting facts about the canoe and the waters.

Speaking of waters, the pools were great - we recommend the infinity pool which faces the unobstructed shoreline view. The beach waters were rough when we were there so unfortunately we did not get to snorkel but it would have been an excellent snorkel spot. The staff did an excellent job in ensuring that the beach was clean and had beach chairs and umbrellas available for guests. Sunscreen, lotions and water is provided complimentary throughout the resort.

Food:

We dined at the ‘DUO Steak and Seafood’ for their buffet breakfast. Absolutely delicious and high quality food. We wrote a post about it here: https://nimnimnimto.blogspot.com/2023/08/duo-steak-seafood-full-island-buffet-at.html

Service:

Even before arriving at the resort, the service was amazing. We made inquiries and bookings through e-mail and the staff were prompt, courteous and professional. Everyone from the bellhop to the concierge to the housekeeping makes you feel like you’re a star.
