Too Good To Go - Metro ($6 for $18.67 worth of baked goods!)

Our first bag from Metro with Too Good To Go! We were not overwhelmed by the value we got back but they were very practical items that we were happy to consume. We paid $5.99 for over $18.67 worth of baked goods!

Too Good To Go is a mobile application that connects customers to restaurants and stores that have surplus unsold food. Metro is a large grocery chain with over 325 locations across Canada. Lets explore our haul!

Cherry Pie, Artisan - $8.99
Mini Banana And Chocolate Chip Muffins - $5.69
Sliced French Bread Baked In Store - $3.99

The Good:

We are regular customers of Metro. They're a fairly competitive grocery chain that competes with some of the bargain chains out there especially during sale periods. We were excited to see that we receive items we have not bought before from Metro. The items were still very fresh and for items we did not finish, we froze and they were excellent into the future.

The Bad:

Nothing! Everything was good.

The Delish:

Though we were not blown away by the volume of this bag, when you consider a whole pie, mini muffins and a loaf of bread for $6, thats pretty darn good!

The NimNimNim (Cream of the crop) :

Customer service was excellent and prompt at this location (Yonge and College). We were very happy with this bag; our favourite item was the banana chocolate chip muffins!

💰Total: $18.67💰
💸We paid: $5.99💸
🤑That is a $12.68 savings!🤑
