Too Good To Go - Eataly ($6 for $31.85 worth of produce!)

Another amazing haul from Too Good To Go! This has to be one of the best produce hauls we have got yet. We paid $5.99 for over $31 worth of produce at a high end grocer!

Too Good To Go is a mobile application that connects customers to restaurants and stores that have surplus unsold food. Eataly is an upscale Italian market that also is home to several restaurants located in Toronto.

Lets explore our haul!

The Good:

Like always, the entire experience of 'Too Good To Go' is outstanding from start to finish. In this adventure, we purchased Eataly's 'Produce' bag, they have a variety of bag types which determine what type of food you receive. The pickup was at the customer service desk when you enter the market up the escalators to your left; it was quick and easy as always.

The Bad:

Nothing! A few of the Romano beans were moldy but aside from that the haul was great!

The Delish:

The quality of the products were great. Some of the products, as the previously mentioned Romano beans were over ripe but the majority of the products were at its peak ripeness and ready to eat or store.

The NimNimNim (Cream of the crop) :

Produce bags always seem like a better return on investment simply because the cost of groceries have skyrocketed lately, seeing as these are goods we would all typically purchase on a regular, it just makes this deal even more incredible. When you do the math, we had a savings of over 80%! Below, we share each item in the bag and the estimated cost based on the pricing from Eataly:

Bell Peppers - $3.50

Chocolate Oranges - $4.50

Yukon Gold Potatoes - $1.65

Bunches of Broccolini - $11.80

Organic Arugula - $5.90

Romano Beans - $4.50

💰Total: $31.85💰
💸We paid: $5.99💸
🤑That is a $25.86 savings!🤑
