Too Good To Go - Daan Go Cake Lab ($5.99 for $19.50 worth of desserts!)

This was a fun bag from Daan Go Cake Lab! This was our first time visiting them and we came out with a set of fun and delicious macarons with a delicious cake.

Too Good To Go is a mobile application that connects customers to restaurants and stores that have surplus unsold food. Daan Go is a Toronto based bakery, that use Asian inspired flavours to make a wide variety of delicious desserts from macarons, to cakes to ice cream. Their offerings are very artistic and are as fun to look at and admire as they are to eat.

Lets explore our haul!

The Good:

We love exploring new places and we have never been to Daan Go Cake Lab before. The location was inside a popular restaurant in Toronto called 'R&D'. This bakery was very elegant and the service was quick and friendly.

The Bad:

Nothing! We aren't huge fans of macarons (we wouldn't go out of our way to purchase them at regular price unless it was for a special occasion) but these were delicious and very fun to admire as we tasted them.

The Delish:

We love surprises and the fact we didn't know what these flavours were made it extra fun. We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed them very much. The macarons were fresh and the flavours were very clear and pronounced - we were able to identify the flavours from just a bite.

The NimNimNim (Cream of the crop) :

For $6, this dessert bag was really nice. The Lunar Fortune Cake was delicious. It was a multilayered cake, very light and familiar Asian bakery flavours.
